Introduction
Xenon Flash Tubes are ideal for high-speed precision image processing because they instantaneously give out high light intensity and a strong luminous flux. In addition, they are able to emit light repeatedly, make them ideal for photo reactivity and signal generation.
Our tubes convert high power input into high-intensity continuous line spectrums within an extremely short period of time (several milli-seconds). The light emitted is almost identical to the colour temperature of daylight.
Our standard xenon flash tube diameters range from 1.30mm to 6.0mm. As for the shapes, most of them are linear, some of them are U-shaped and curvilinear, all of which are tailor-made according to customer specifications. Besides, we can provide professional Flash Module and optical advice to customers.
Structure of Xenon Flash Tube
Xenon Gas
Xenon Gas could emit light similar to sunlight’s color temperature which would reflect color truly in photo taking. Moreover, it functions at lower voltage with higher efficient merits in light emission.
Glass
Nam Kwong uses high quality hard glass, the High-Borate Borosilicate Glass, to manufacture xenon flash tubes. It can be easily sealed with tungsten because of their similar coefficient of expansion. Moreover, the Borosilicate glass has the characteristics of high electrical insulation and special optical properties. As a result, it can withstand repetitive flashing over a long period of time.
Anode and Cathode
The components of the anode and cathode are mainly comprised of electrode (tungsten) and pill. The main function of electrode (tungsten) is to be an air-tight conductive material. Pill has the function of emitting electrons and withstanding intensive electron firings.
Titanium Alloy
Titanium Alloy is made of Titanium and other active rare metals. Impure gases are absorbed chemically while the lamp is discharging, and physically while the lamp is not discharging. The alloy maintains the purities of the lamp interior as well as the gettering functions over a long period of time.
Titanium alloy, a highly active material, is formed through combustion. Under certain conditions, when reacting with most kinds of gases, can form a stable, non-revertible chemical compound.
Conductive Coating
The function of the conductive coating is to trigger voltage to ionize xenon gas fully inside the lamp.
Shape
Nam Kwong offers different lamp shapes meeting the needs of diverse products. We offer many lamp forms, including linear lamps, U-shape, circular etc.
Application
Nam Kwong is one of the largest flash lamp manufacturers in the world for a wide range of applications.
